Christi M. Carrano

Christi started her career working as a secretary in her father’s law office while attending college. In 2003, she joined the Law Offices of Frank A. Carrano as an associate attorney and the firm transformed into Carrano & Carrano, LLC. Christi became a partner in 2007 and then the sole owner of The Carrano Law Firm, LLC when her father, Frank, retired. From the start of her career to today, Christi has handled personal injury cases from their inception through trial. The primary focus of Christi’s practice has always been representing injured people.

Christi is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, The Connecticut Bar Association, and has been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers Magazine Rising Stars Edition on several occasions.

Christi obtained her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003 and her B.A. from Southern Connecticut State University in 2000. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.

Christi earned a diploma from the Connecticut Bar Association and National Institute for Trial Advocacy upon completion of an Intensive Professional Training Program in the Art & Skills of Trial Advocacy.  

Tyler M. Barhorst

Tyler grew up in Celina, Ohio and moved to Connecticut in 2000. Prior to joining The Carrano Law Firm in 2012, Tyler practiced in Fairfield County where he litigated individual and commercial cases involving personal injuries and property losses. Throughout his career, Tyler has frequently handled cases arising out of motorcycle and motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, construction/worksite accidents, and injuries caused by defective products.

Tyler is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, The Connecticut Bar Association, and has been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers Magazine Rising Stars Edition on several occasions.

Tyler obtained his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003 and his B.S. from Eastern Michigan University in 1999. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut; the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court.

Tyler completed the Mediation Certificate Program at the Quinnipiac University School of Law Center on Dispute Resolution. Tyler currently serves as a non-judicial arbitrator in multiple Connecticut Superior Courts.
